Can anyone have access to Mordomus?

When you go to: Function Settings -> Users, it allows the accounts management for all users. This management is only allowed to the Configurator and the Administrator. They define the access codes and security permissions of all accounts.

 

Can I buy just some modules or shall I buy them all?

Your home should be studied according to your needs and you should search the assistance of a Mordomus authorized dealer. The modular architecture of Mordomus, allows you to implement a good management of which modules you’ll have to buy, but it will also leave open the possibility of increasing the initial installation in the future.

 

Can I have more than one touchscreen in my house?

You may have as many controlling panels as you wish, which will help you to access Mordomus functions. It is also available, free of charge, applications to access trough a PDA or Internet which can help you to avoid installing extra panels. The installation of PIR-MS also allows you to have a tremendous amount of control with an ordinary IV remote control (TV or other equipment).

 

Is it possible to have Mordomus without a touchscreen?

Yes, but on the other hand you won’t be able to organize or interact directly with the CPU and the Mordomus Control Panel. The custom functions, surround sound, IF conditions, among many other features will be unavailable. However, there are many builders who install Mordomus without the controlling panel, to reduce the initial investment. In the cases, the end customers can order the installation of the controlling panel later on.

 

May I update my Mordomus? How much will it cost?

The system is always evoluting, so Mordomus can be updated, always including new features, in order to keep your house at top of technology.

Can Mordomus interact with the house's lift?

Yes. The company that was responsible for the lift's installation will have to give the access to points of control which will allow the connection to Mordomus.
